  1. Scope of services

Personal data may be requested and stored for the purposes of providing counseling services and maintaining treatment records.

2. Appointments and cancellations

Appointments must be scheduled in advance.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the session may be charged in full.

  1. Fees and payment

The agreed fee per session is communicated prior to the start of counseling.

Payment is due 24 hours before the start of the session, unless otherwise agreed.

  1. Confidentiality

All personal data and information shared during counseling sessions are treated with strict confidentiality.

Information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except when required by law or in case of risk to yourself or others.

  1. Privacy and data protection

These terms and conditions apply to all counseling services provided by .

Data are handled in accordance with the GDPR, which means:

Only necessary personal data are collected and used.

Data are stored securely (locked cabinets for paper files, password protection and/or encryption for digital files).

Data are not shared with third parties unless required by law or with explicit client consent.

Clients have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their data at any time.

Data will not be retained longer than necessary for counseling purposes (up to 15 years).

  1. Responsibilities of the client

Clients are expected to provide accurate and complete information relevant to the counseling process.

Clients are responsible for their own decisions and actions during and after the counseling process.

  1. Liability

The counselor is committed to professional standards but cannot be held liable for outcomes beyond the scope of professional responsibility.

8.Reporting obligation (Wkkgz and IGJ)

    In accordance with the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz), the counselor is legally obliged to report serious incidents, unsafe care situations, or professional misconduct to the Dutch Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ) when applicable. This reporting obligation ensures client safety and the quality of care.

    9. Applicable law

    These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.
